Three exciting events are already planned for 2010.

St Patricks Festival - 13th-18th March

Come along to the St Patricks Irish Festival from 13-18 March. This event will be hosted on the World Mile by the Irish Club on Rebecca Street. Everyone is welcome – so come along and enjoy the craic!

Polish Festival - 1st-7th May

Balanga Bar and Restaurant on Godwin Street is planning a Polish Festival between the 1st and 7th of May. Music, dancing, food and community activities will all take place. So come along and join in the bank holiday weekend fun.

Celebration of English Food and Music - Sept 2010

A celebration of food and music is being planned for September 2010. So make a day of it. Spend time in the shops on the World Mile ...and then get yourself over to the Beehive to enjoy the festivities. More details to follow.

World Mile Banners Project - Summer 2009

To mark the World Mile Festival in September 2009 (part of Bradford Music Week) over 20 banners were displayed along the World Mile route. Local primary school children, youth groups and an adult community project designed them. The artwork reflects the artists' thoughts about the World Mile area and the goods available in its shops.
